1. Zendaya-inspired half-up do
A true style chameleon, Zendaya serves us hair lewk after lewk – changing her ‘do more often than we change our bed sheets. But, while we’re spoilt for choice for holiday hair inspo, we can’t go past this swishy, sexy style for New Year’s Eve.
Prep
Get your strands ready to party with a nourishing masque – like our 5-in-1 Like A Virgin Hair Masque. Apply to towel-dried mid-lengths and ends, leave for 10 minutes, then rinse. Apply a heat protectant serum, blow dry your hair and you’re ready to start styling.
Style
Section off hair and, using a large-barrelled curling wand, curl away from the face for 5 seconds to create loose, soft curls. Grab your front strands and scrape back neatly, securing with a hair elastic. Apply some gel for extra smoothness. Grab a long strand of hair and wrap it around the elastic to create a cute camouflage. Secure with a (hidden) bobby pin.
Finish
Give hair a quick spritz of flexible hold hairspray, pop on your party dress and you’re ready to go turn some heads!

2. The perfect pony
The perfect ponytail doesn’t exis… Much glammer than your average schoolgirl staple, this grown-up spin on the ponytail will have you making waves this holiday season. Here’s how to make yours ultra-polished.
Prep
If you’ve been doing the rounds this holiday season, your strands might be looking a little partied out. To refresh your scalp and remove any product build up from your hair, try using a scalp scrub before shampooing and conditioning.
Style
For an ultra-shiny, sleek blow dry, apply a few drops of a hair serum to your mid-lengths and ends. Comb through, then blow dry your hair until smooth. Part your bangs in the centre, then use a tangle tamer to brush hair into a smooth, mid-height ponytail. Secure your pony with an elastic and use a large-barrel curling iron to curl your ponytail and bangs.
Finish
Wrap a thick strand of hair around your elastic and secure with a bobby pin. Apply a shine spray for extra sparkle and complete your look with a bright red lip. Lush.
3. Not-so basic bun
Think a bun is boring? Think again. This super sexy, BIG bun might be simple to achieve, but the results are anything but basic. A holiday hairstyle slam dunk for all our curly babes.
Prep
Show your curls some love with a moisturising hair masque session. Use a tangle tamer to gently detangle hair and evenly distribute your mask through damp hair. Kick back for 10 minutes, then rinse.
Style
Apply a shine-enhancing hair oil, like our Miracle Hair Elixir, then wind your strands around your fingers to give curls maximum bounce and definition. Allow your hair to dry naturally or use a diffuser attachment to gently blow dry.
Finish
Grab a scrunchie and secure your big, bad strands in a loose topknot/ bun situation. Leave the ends loose and pull out some shorter curls at the front to frame your face. Now, go slay girl!

4. Curly crop
‘Tis the season for embracing your curls and waves – and this short curly do is another killer. Requiring minimal effort, it delivers MAJOR results. How’s that for a win-win as we all drag our sorry selves to the end of the year.
Prep
Start by washing and conditioning your hair, then apply a curl cream or serum. Scrunch your hair to encourage your natural curl, making sure you spritz to keep your strands super-wet. Apply gel and scrunch some more.
Style
Use a microfibre towel or soft t-shirt to wrap/ plop hair for 10-15 mins. This will help partially dry hair without creating frizz. Remove the towel and use a diffuser to gently finish drying those curls.
Finish
Toss your head about and admire that glorious texture and bounce!

5. Braid-y babe
There’s something about a cute braided ‘do that’s just so darn festive and – despite what you might think – they’re really not that hard to achieve! Here are a bunch of our faves, to suit different skills levels, occasions and hair types. So, go on – get knotted!

Styling Tip
Frizz and fly-aways are the enemies of good-looking braids. To keep yours smooth and shiny, run a few drops of hair oil, like our Miracle Hair Elixir, through dry strands before braiding. Or apply to damp hair before heat styling to smooth and protect hair up to 220°c.
A final word on holiday haircare
Beach trips, smoke and endless heat styling can leave hair dry, damaged and depleted during the holidays. To protect and revive your partied-out strands, try adding a hydrating and repairing hair masque to your routine, 1-3 times a week.
